Insight Institute of Management and Technology was established in 2008 with a vision of "Empowerment Through Education ".

Sri Lanka enjoys free education even up to the university level. Hence a large number seek entry to state universities every year where the number of seats available are limited. Therefor a large number of students are forced to seek other avenues for further education. A limiting factor for their progress is finance as private education is expensive.

Insight attempts to fill the gap by providing quality education at affordable cost and prepare students for courses outside the local university system.
